Good morning! Benedicite!

I’m Clyde Ericson Nolasco, a grade school teacher at St. Scholastica’s College Manila

and content manager of DominusEst.ph.

First of all, I thank God for this Lagerwey Award for Communication Excellence on Values Formation. Thank you, Communication Foundation for Asia. Thank you Fr Cor Lagerway.

I would like to thank our Benedictine community, our school president Sr. Rosario, Sr Christine; our Grade School Unit, our principal Ms. Louisa Joaquin, my fellow teachers and my dear friends at work — thank you for the joy of living ora et labora together.

To our Dominus Est community — followers and volunteers — I share this with you.

Thank you, Fr. Jason Laguerta, for inviting me to this mission with Card Tagle five years ago. And to our indefatigable editor-in-chief, Ms. Margaux Salcedo — thank you for your support and trust since Day One.

Last Monday, Pope Leo XIV reminded media practitioners that communication isn’t just about information, but about creating spaces for dialogue and discussion. With today’s technology, may we fill those spaces with generosity, not hate — choosing peace over division, online and offline.

With this, I dedicate this award first to Pope Francis — salamat, Lolo Kiko, for guiding us in the digital age. To St. John Paul II, my intercessor, for praying with me. To my students — past, present, and future — may you always glorify God with your lives. And to my family, especially my parents, my first catechists — thank you for teaching me how to communicate with God by praying.

Congratulations to all of us! Once again, thank you, CFA.

In this Jubilee year of hope, let us keep proclaiming: It is the Lord! Dominus Est!
