For the Opening Mass for the 2nd National Mission Congress, which is the culminating activity for 500 Years of Christianity, the JRG Visayas choir sang a beautiful rendition of "We Give Our Yes", which incorporated not only English and Tagalog but also a few verses in Cebuano.
We Give Our Yes is the theme song for the Year of Missio Ad Gentes, the theme for the final year celebrating 500 Years of Christianity.
Opening Mass
The Most Rev. Jose S. Palma, D.D., Archbishop of Cebu presided over the Eucharistic celebration that opened the 2nd National Mission Congress held at at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu.
Opening Remarks were given by Bishop Socrates Mesiona, Chairman of the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Mission.
JRG Choral
The Jose R. Gullas Visayas Chorale accompanied the congregation in singing the mass hymns. For the recessional, JRG Visayas Chorale rendered their version of "We Give Our Yes”.

JRG Visayas Chorale is a Cebu-based choir that recently brought pride to our country by winning the Grand Prix prize of the 2021 Busan Choral Festival & Competition (BCFC) in South Korea. The director of the chorale is Ms. Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero.
