Diocese of Parañaque Joins Manila, Cubao: No masses from August 3 - 14

The Diocese of Parañaque has joined the Archdiocese of Manila and Diocese of Cubao in heeding the call of medical workers for a two-week "time-out".

Parañaque Bishop Jesse Mercado today announced the suspension of masses in all parishes in the Diocese of Parañaque from August 3 to 14.

"In solidarity with Manila and the other suffragan dioceses, we shall heed the call as well. Let this be our little contribution to the huge battle against this pandemic, and we will do this as our manifestation of support for our heroes, the frontliners," Bishop Mercado said in his letter.
