Clyde Ericson H. Nolasco
Clyde Ericson Nolasco teaches Christian Living Education at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
He is a devoted follower of Christ and started serving his parish at only 9 years old as part of the CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
From CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TO ALTAR SERVER, he became project coordinator of his parish’s Youth Ministry and even ENTERED in the seminary although eventually found his calling in the academe instead.
Still passionate about evangelizing the youth, he was Stage Manager and Floor Director for the Philippine Conference on New Evangelization for four years, from 2015 to 2018, directing no less than His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle as the Cardinal interviewed celebrities to inspire the youth about their journeys in faith.
He was Program Committee Coordinator for the New Evangelization Workshops in honor of Saint John Paul II in 2018 held at Don Bosco Makati.
When he can, he continues to give recollections, catechisms and talks; and loves to facilitate youth formation through team-building sessions, leadership training workshops. His latest project is the Jesuit Communications’ One Praise 2, a praise and worship fest, where he is once again Floor Director.
He just wanted to see Jesus, that’s all. However, he just didn’t see the Christ but found a new life. Up on a sycamore tree, the tax collector Zacchaeus had his change of heart – his metanoia. He went down from the tree with a repenting heart willing to be generous to others and to welcome Jesus. As we continue waiting for Him, let’s take time to stay up on our sycamore tree – our religious experiences. Let it be an opportunity for us to learn more about our faith. Let’s answer questions as we journey together.
